Character Counts

Character Counts was developed in 1987 by Michael Josephson, a law professor. The Josephson Institute has provided education, leadership, curriculum, and encouragement to educators, prevention specialist, parents, community members, faith-based leaders and, most importantly, to youth around the globe. In 2019, when Michael Josephson retired The Ray Center at Drake University became the home of Character Counts.

Webster County KY-ASAP True Blue DFC became a member of Character Counts in 2017.  Webster County Board of Education has implemented Character Counts in grades K-12 as a character building and substance prevention program.
