Webster County Youth Council members participated in team building training in May 2018 at Western Kentucky University sponsored by the KY Youth Empowerment System Grant. In addition, the council completed Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco and Character Counts education in August 2018 sponsored by WC True Blue DFC.
The Youth Council will partner with Webster County KY-ASAP True Blue DFC and Webster County Middle School Apex 21st Century after school program to provide mentoring, Character Counts information, and Drug, Alcohol, and tobacco prevention for students in grades 7 and 8 who attend the Apex program.
